Something New

So now that I am graduated, I have moved away from Provo and am currently living in Lehi. It's been awhile since I have posted and I should probably catch up on posting pictures and telling you about my life. But until I have time for that, I just wanted to share something with you! I have another blog now!

Since I moved away from my two Provo girls, Erin and Alyssa, we have decided to start a blog together. It will follow us through everything that we do post graduation. I'm pretty excited about it. And even though I'm not very good about posting regularly on here, I hope I can do better on that blog :)

If you are interested the blog is greenlightandproceed.blogspot.com.

Hopefully I will get to posting some more on here too :)

Oh yeah, I'm a college graduate!

So I realize that I am a horrible blogger. I just love reading everyone else's news better than telling my own :) Normally, when I go months without posting anything I post 100 posts at once to get everyone caught up. Then it makes me hate blogging again and it's this awful cycle. Soooo.... this time I am just going to update you on the most recent thing and move forward. So, here it goes.

This last week I completed my college career and graduated from Brigham Young University. Yes, you heard me right, I am DONE! It's so weird to say but it feels great. My whole family came out to visit and celebrate with me. Thursday was commencement. Elder Scott was the speaker. Then, on Friday we had convocation. It was sooooooo long!!! I was graduate #435 of about 530 people. It took forever to get to the front for my 30 seconds of recognition. BUT it was definitely worth it and a great way to end my undergraduate degree.

Here are some pictures from the fun time I had with my family :) Enjoy!

Looking around Aspen Grove with Uncle Jon.

My crazy sister :)

Walking into Commencement

Outside the Mariott Center (If you couldn't tell)

All Graduated and everything :)

Both my grandma and Pop came for the big day

Here's my Motley Crew of Uncles lol I love them. They are the best!

And I just love this picture of my sister. It looks like she is wearing an awful jumper but it's just that cute dress. I just think it's a funny picture.

These are just some of the pictures from my Uncle's camera. I'm going to upload the pictures from my camera at some point....

A gingerbread house FAIL!

Right before Christmas Caitlin mentioned that she had NEVER made a gingerbread house before. I thought this was just a shame so I decided that we had to make a gingerbread house...

First we put the walls together.

Then it was time for the roof. And then decorating the roof.

That is when Chaos erupted. The roof started to slip off the house....

I worked so hard to save it...
Then once I got the roof stabilized again, we lost the wall.

Uh oh!

In the end, Caitlin stuck to it and got the house to stay together. We were sure it wouldn't stay together but Cait said that it did! I guess it turned out to be a success :)

Updates . . .

Okay .... prepare yourselves for a picture overload :)

This is a catchup post. I've been behind for far too long so i'm gonna catch you all up on what's been going on in my life these past few months .... sorry for the long post but I know it had to happen some time.

B.o.B. CONCERT:
In October a group of us went to the B.o.B., Iyaz, Jason Derulo, and Auburn concert. It was so much fun!

On the way to the concert

Going to get in line

The whole group of us waiting to get in

SO EXCITED :)
About to start ...

 B.o.B!!!!!!!

Uh Oh ... Concert foul, Ke$ha played in between the performances
Albert didn't approve.
 And neither did Trent.
We had so much fun!! Maybe someone else will come next semester and we'll get to go to another concert :)

FOOTBALL SEASON:

Well football season has come to an end. It was a rough season but the team got it together and they ended up winning their bowl game. Here are some pictures from one of the last games of the season.

It was sunny, surprisingly.
Oh look! Trev made it to the game.

Trent's Airplane that he thought would make it to the football field . . . It didn't by the way.

HARRY POTTER PARTY:

The night before the opening of the 7th Harry Potter movie Eric and I decided we wanted to throw a pre-potter party.

We got decorations from his work and made Potter themed treats.

We played trivia games and pin the scar on Harry.

HARRY POTTER 7 PART 1:

We went to the opening night of the new Harry Potter movie. Eric and Alyssa Esquibel went early to save us a spot in line. Since they were there waiting, Alyssa and I decided to go and grab something to eat before hand. We went to the Italian place for the first time. It was so good and definitely somewhere that we will be going again..

Our spot savers...

Roommates :)

We all made these matching Gryffindor shirts ... it was fun making them.

I attempted having some fun with the monopod. It didn't work out so well . . .

Eric hates the monopod for some reason so he finds the need to ruin the picture :)

ROOMMATE SHINANNIGANS:

Well one day Alyssa, Jess and I were sitting at home over thanksgiving break and had an idea. We wanted to get something to eat, go shopping and do something slightly sneaky. Here's the picture proof. I'll leave the sneaky act up to your imagination :)

BYU BASKETBALL:

Basketball season is in full swing!! I love any BYU sport and over the years while I have been at BYU I have grown to really love watching basketball.

A couple of weekends ago a whole group of people from my ward went to the basketball game in energy solutions arena. We had so much fun, even if our seats were at the top of the arena...

Then we went and got pizza at the Pizza Pie Cafe after the game.
It was a fun day. I look forward to the rest of the season this next semester.

TIS THE SEASON:

The Christmas season always means coming home to lots of baking. The night after I came home we had to get all of the sweets ready for our Christmas party the next day. It was fun baking all night and this was the delicious result to our madness. (Even though I couldn't eat them)

I think that leaves you all caught up now... Except for the pictures I have of Christmas on my NEW camera :) I'll add those soon.

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas :) I know that I did! Sorry again for the long post.
